Song of the Day Nov 26, 2010

Grr.. todays songs were all mediocre at best. Didn't want to review songs that weren't worth reviewing. Maybe I'm being a bit biased, as most of these songs are not enjoyable to me. I hope you guys enjoy it, though.

Probably second best song, again not willing to review. Let's hope tomorrow's will be better.

Waht this is I don't even

The following pics will make up for the lack of review:

Song of the Day Nov 25, 2010

Bah tired, so I'll post the review tomorrow

If the song's style sounds familiar, its probably because its deco*27. Yeah that's pretty big on the vocaloid front

Oh yes, and I found the Miku version for the gumi video in the previous review:

It was the ending theme for "My Little Sister Can't be this Cute," why didn't I notice! GAHH!

Song of the Day Nov 24, 2010

Today had lots of good songs. Too bad it takes quite a while to ravage through all of the videos. Totally worth it...

First, I will post two arranges or remixes that I forgot to post previously:

And on to the original song of the day:

【初音ミク】栄う千夜と雪の花

The only open criticism I can make of this song is that its full potential is limited by bad sound quality. Turn the volume on blast and the song sets you free. The beginning is godly, using festival stringed instruments with the utmost precision to grasp the listener, bells and (What seems to me) shrine maiden vocals to bring in the meat of the song, and setting it all off with electronic music. The change in atmosphere works perfectly with the instruments. Miku's voice, too, is well used, with her voice and vocals harmonizing superbly with the overall feel of the song.

Better quality this way.

Runner ups:

Well that's all for today. May everybody have a great thanksgiving!

shits....and no giggles...

So I came home today and booted up ma lappy only to find that its hard drive (which happens to be my main HDD for my music and this blog) had failed. I'll get it replaced (and hopefully recover some data), but for now I won't be able to update.

Let this also be a reminder to me that I should back up my collection more than once every 2 months =/

Song of the Day Nov 22, 2010

Sorry about the absence, I was busy celebrating the end of a couple exams by duking it out on Touhou Pocket Wars EVO. Today will be the end of my break, and another won't surface until winter and summer. Today, I will just post a bunch of songs that I felt were noteworthy. Again, sorry, but I had to let out all the steam somewhere, right?

Reminds me of my first time hearing Hatsune Miku. Its quite a tasty song for those desiring reminiscence of past times.

Song containing excellent band work, with Hatsune Miku fitting the main attraction. Turn up the volume and earphones for best effect.

Might not be a song that rates high, but it has originality in design so I'll submit it.

I'm a sucker to these type of songs, sue me.

You guys knew this was coming.

These type of PV's never make it to the top, so I'll post it here. What I like about this song is its freedom and independence.

Another song that has the same atmosphere of familiar songs. A bit too repetitive but it sure won't hurt.

And that's all, folks. See ya tommorrow! Wait its already tomorrow. Well See you later then!
